12yrs down the road, and my nav screen was looking terrible. Lots of the anti-glare had worn off. Really spoilt the otherwise great dash. New wasn’t an option, and I didn’t want to gamble on secondhand mostly sold as the entire lump. After a bit research I found out the screen is a fairly standard Sharp unit. A new unit sourced at £86 + £12 import tax.
A genuine DIY strip and reassemble. Actually the hardest part was getting the lot out of the dashboard. Once upstairs on a towel all rather straightforward. All working fine, and has made a big difference to the look of the dash.
