2003 4200 Clock issue

Hi All,

Anyone any useful tips on how to remove the dash clock and do the bulb replacement?

Its been done, but is a wrestling match, not sure if there is a fix on the forum ...hands up who has one that lights up??!!

Not sure if it was a bulb in there...thought it was some luminous back plate thingy...but I may be wrong.

It is a photo luminous sheet and the problem is the ballast chip Burns out. It is critical to get the voltage correct to set the colour correctly. Basically you can buy a new ballast chip if you buy 1,000 of them!

I did a conversion to LEDs but ended up buying a new clock because it was cheap I'll look out the how to thread for the LED conversions
