£18k is too much for an AC that will soon need the timing chains replaced, although it is a good looking car. The 'Assetto Cambio' connotation is rather interesting.

If yours is now sorted hang on to it Dem.

Dem , I recon that it will not lose money now ... As long you don't put loads of miles on her prices will stay where they are for an AC.

I know 75 were made but did all the AC's come to Britain??

No Adam. According to press reports there were around 250 to 350 AC's in total, but the factory records suggest the true figure to be 163 worldwide of which 75 came to the UK, and the numbers I've come across in the UK pretty much confirm the latter. A few of the UK cars have beeen written off so the (good) remaining ones will be harder to find as time passes. Price-wise I think some folk are being optimistic, especially in the present climate, although I don't think the AC yet has attained the recognition it deserves.

when it comes to valueing the AC its too early....in 3 years will be a good time to see but now from what i see in the market 4k more than the equivalent 3200 is about the going price of AC.....

Hard to say - I think it still comes down more to spec, colour etc. It's only the (relatively limited) real enthusiasts that value the AC - for most buyers it's less of a priority. There was that genuine sounding red AC being sold for Berkshire Performance Cars a few months back.....ended up going for sub £11k even though it was lowish miles etc. Just the wrong colour!

that was a cat c nig......

No, not that one! You're thinking of the ropily repaired one that was first spotted on coparts, and had a blacked grille instead of chrome.

Andy will know which one I mean...definitely wasn't cat C!

I was almost tempted myself, even though I don't need two 3200s! Its interior needed a clean and it needed an actuator, but it was a genuine sounding car with strong history. I spoke to the owner....he bought it and then lost his job. As I say, it was just the spec that seemed to be putting people off - it hung around for ages.
