Hi Mick, Can you get your guy with the wheels to measure from the inside bolt plate to the inner rim edge? Can he then also measure inner rim edge to outer rim edge?
As for the adapter, I'm pretty certain this is doable, but maybe at a cost. Formula Dynamics spring to mind? Maybe a PM to Jeff on the US forum? In fact Jeff may have come across this before, so definitely worth making contact.
