The Auto box is much improved in the new Sport model, it has an electronically inserted throttle blip on down shifts, just like the MC Shift, better economy too.
We should meet up when you get it and compare notes. I am guessing that the suspension changes are small as road testers bang on about improvements but the adjustments are normally not enough to really notice - I have had loads of cars over the years so I always play down facelifts other than the visual stuff. With the latter in mind I am really looking forward to seeing the new seats as they look superb in the photos.
I would leave the ipod link in as it is cheap and will add to resale even if you never use it. I have uploaded CDs to the hard drive but I believe that you can just do it with a USB stick instead.
My car took ten weeks from order to delivery a year ago (came two months before I wanted it) which shows how weak demand is for these sort of cars is at the moment. Still helps the discount.
I understand why you went for the auto and will be interested to see how different it is. Maserati do not seem to be saying much about differences in normal or ice mode and are focusing on sport mode. Personally (Matt) I feel that it is already pretty aggressive and fast in sport manual so let's find out!

Still no price list- got to love the Italians- please buy our car but we can't tell you how much it will be until it is delivered. I have a range they say it will be within!!! Car price fixed but options still unknown- probably much like last price list apparently.

Agreed, fantastic combination.
w5pwr - Now that I see a real one with the stitching I am glad I went for the yellow. Looks fantastic and a bit different from all the red ones out there.
Now got a date of 19th Sep for delivery.
Factory guaranteed July build but then decided this week it all seemed a little too much like hard work and they will build it in September instead.Hopefully get some phots uploaded after delivery.
Got new gates and driveway fitted in preparation.
