Not sure it's my cup of tea but I get it that a dedicated enthusiast would drive this. Would you rather have this for rarity value or an older TVR? Different cars I know but money wise on a par...

I'd buy the 222 SE on eBay instead, in my opinion a prettier car and a tighter car to drive, cheaper too. Bi-turbo Spyder's do have a following though although personally I believe the Karif is a far better car to drive.

Dicky out of interest what are perceived to be the best of the Bi-turbo era cars?

A Ghibli in Cup form (or with cup suspension) is a very fine handling car, I would say for the time - but actually with a little tweaking, not much gets past us on track nowadays.
Rumour has it that they only canceled the Ghibli Open Cup Championship, cos it was (rather embarrassingly for the new owners) faster than the 355 cars round the track.

I'm well thank you Sir. I keep meaning to start a post following progress of our Ghibli, but never seem to get round to it.
