You know too muchDon't tell Stevo, but they only 'shut down' to stop him coming around all the time. Ssssssshhhhhh
What a clever idea thinking outside of the box brilliant. This may be a non-starter depending on what you have squirrelled away in pensions. I combined all of mine into a SIPP and used it to buy a commercial property through my pension fund. I then set up a separate legal entity called Gray's Auto Services Limited which leases the commercial property from my landlord....which happens to be my pension fund. So as I only had (effectively) myself to negotiate the lease with, I approved it for motor trade use...
So my personal pension fund owns my commercial property and my limited company leases it back (effectively) from myself and pays a monthly lease back into my pension fund...meanwhile my limited company earns me and my team a living until I get to an age when I'm ready to retire and sell the commercial property...
Hopefully I've described this properly, but if you need more information @conaero please don't hesitate to PM me.

I am trying to do exactly that, not to start a motor repair facility, but just as investment within my pension to then let out. It transpires that freehold units for sale are like hens’ teethThis may be a non-starter depending on what you have squirrelled away in pensions. Good excuse for a road trip…How far would folk travel for a good Maserati specialist? @conaero, we're desperate for qualified mechanics up here in the Highlands, so come up and join us. We have at least one Maserati here in the village of Kingussie that comes in to us, but room for more
Would it get there in the first place though?Good excuse for a road trip…
Several weeks static after an SI service and the Spyder has just returned from a faultless 500 mile round trip to the North. It would surely make it past Glasgow and the in-laws….Would it get there in the first place though?
