So pretty Ewan (the car that is ;-) ) I take it you don’t have it anymore ?
Correct - I sold it about 3 years ago. Very pretty, and fun to drive. But horribly unreliable, with difficult parts availability and no mechanics in the UK with any experience of them. I had to take it back to Nantes (France) to be fixed by the people that used to work at the factory. Though that was also a good opportunity to thrash it around the private race track they built there, the Circuit D'Atlantique (after which the car was named).

Would imagine parts would be an issue over here as not many sold back in the day. Respect for having one though Ewan. I did test drive the earlier example before buying my Esprit.

The original owner of mine was Mr Rausing (of TetraPak fame), who was the richest person in the U.K. at that time. He probably wasn’t so bothered about repair bills!

Remember ready reviews of the 400 GT at the time and they were very good if my memory serves me right.

400GT is very rare. They only built a handful, one of which came to the U.K.

Fractionally more populous here was the Atlantique, of which about 10 were sold here in right hand drive (such as the green one pictured above). The final two were twin-turbo versions, such as my blue car. More power than the earlier single-turbo version, but more temperamental.
