You have no idea how happy it makes me to see it still running, Ian. :thumb3:

The best reaction you ever had to your Maserati?

Quite a lot of positive reaction to the Ghibli over the years I had it, but two that stand out. 1. Asked to take a mate to his wedding in it (bride was already there, so there was no white roller for her!); 2. The day before I sold it, parking it in the car park for the company I was...

I am probably certifiable but ...

So, I went to see it. ;) I'm not sure what I was expecting for 177k miles and £4,000 but what I saw was probably what I *should* have expected. The bodywork was very tired, with lots of evidence of patches of paintwork having been done (probably minor dings, it looked straight enough, albeit...

I am probably certifiable but ...

I sold my Ghibli a month or so ago, ostensibly to fund replacement windows and so on around the house, but the rehab process is proving hard. I saw this the other day and it's in danger of tempting me to fall off the wagon again because it fits comfortably into the difference between my windows...

    So... I want a Maserati...

Back on topic - you have to buy on condition and history. I originally wanted a manual, but in the year or so leading up to buying mine, I ended up only seeing one manual on the market and it was very tired. The one I bought was excellent and well cared for, and as a result I kept it 6 1/2...

Who do you use to insure your Maserati?

I used Keith Michaels for the Ghibli and was getting around £450 with unlimited mileage (apparently the policy was no cheaper when limiting it). Have used them for years for both cars, always used to check the comparison sites and the main ones like Direct Line, Aviva and Admiral, and KM were...

    Cheap Ghibli

Hi guys, just to add my 2p'th. I'm pretty horrified at the prices at the moment, I'm really hoping they pick up a bit - Meridien certainly seem to be doing their bit for the cause tho :D Shame to see people bashing the Ghibli here and suggesting that the 3200 is a better buy - I'm not sure...
