Or I should say the travel on the brake pedal is so low it's untrue. I can barely stop the car even at low speed. Fluid is full. No obvious leaks. Any ideas folks?

Unbelievably this turned out to be a hairline crack in the fuel cap. Which of course I only found after stripping the boot and checking everything else for hours with a torch and magnifying glass.

Is this a 3200 or a 4200? I've just solved the intermittent but sometimes extreme over idling on my 3200 with a contactless throttle pot.
