Hi, I think I may have mis-described the part. I believe the issue is in the canister that is attached to the accelerator - the drive by wire sensor. Indy was getting codes releated to it, cleared them, but they have no come back with throttle issues / almost like limp mode, but no lights on...

Thanks - will need to check the harness. So it seems the pedal potentiometers hardly ever give trouble on the 4200's..?

Interesting - it's had the shoes replaced, and a new handbrake cable... It's the same sound at 30mph over non smooth road through - am thinking it might be something else?

Maybe tracker with old battery pack? This is a common 4200 issue. Cobra Navtrack can replace the unit. Or your main battery is failing? Or light remaining on in glovebox? The above don't explain the alarm failure directly, but maybe the battery in the siren (or alarm module) is also failing...

I've had to do an alternator, and I think they get a lot of heat where they are. But great point on the v-belt check suggestion above...

I ended up getting the pattern part arms (rear lower levers) in the end. They def seem to be from the same casting as the OE ones, so nice saving. Al in all, the Maserati design seems pretty poor in terms of tracking adjustment All the other gaiters seem OK, so will stick with stock...

Thanks - that's great! I'll check out cost of the kit delivered (and estimate any extra assembly cost), then compare to the Eurospares pattern price. I'm glad to hear these pattern parts are working out OK, as they were just coming to market when I looked last.
