An impressive new dealership site retailing Ferrari and Maserati. Lots of collector cars at high value. They also have BMW and Mini dealerships in the town. I wish I felt like a 7 series purchaser at their Maserati site..... Sadly not the case ....

Been waiting for Dick Lovetts to get one in since they promised their demonstrator in October. They have an allocation of 10 cars, all diesels, and am guessing they are all sold off plan by now. I wanted to see and hear one in the flesh before committing .....

Demonstrator arrives Dick Lovett in November ..... They really expect that 9/10 cars sold will be diesels and so only diesel demonstrators until January ........ Wow ......

Interesting as I now begin to wonder what differentiates the QP to the Ghibli. V6 petrol or diesel to V8 I could understand, however that has been narrowed now with this news..... Or is it just me ..... Marc

For the diesels demos will be around in New Year I expect, with 3,000 miles ........ But in all honesty I think the cars will sell in advance and won't be sitting there on a forecourt ..........

My CLS was ex-demo and was very highly specced including the Harmon Kardon, but respectfully it was nowhere near that sort of money. It's too early for ex-demo chat however as the first cars arrive at DL in October and they are all, and I mean all (10) diesels. No petrols till January .....

The new Ghibli comes with, I believe, a 280 watt 8 speaker system. Upgrade to the premium system, Bowers & Wilkins, 1280 watts and 15 speakers and yu are looking at £3,360 .........GULP ........ Car comes with satnav as standard. Interesting visit to the dealer today ;) My options...

Dick Lovett were really helpful when I bought the Quattroporte wheels , they were able to do a deal and would expect no less if buying a car from them. They will be my first port of call.

Lights are an important factor as it seems some manufacturers are fitting DRLs as a sort of after thought, as if the car has come through 4 years of design and the they thought, oh shite, DRL re the way to go. And the you end up with something from Halfords.....sat Nav goes through the same...

And one day it will be electric ...... I am in the Cote D'Azur at the moment, Antibes, and everyday super cars drive along the coast blipping their throttles. Audio is an important part of high end car ownership, but it's not the only thing. I am excited by the V6, as it seems to produce both...
