Agreed. A mid-sized SUV is not an exciting prospect in design terms, and the Grecale is no more exciting to look at than its Porsche Mecan competitor.Silver Grecale heading down the A48 towards Chepstow. First one I have seen in the road and didn’t really move me one bit as dare I say it just looked bland. I like Maseratis to stand out in the crowd and on the road it just didn’t. I think it was a standard car so not the top of the range thingy.
However, I went in a top-of-the-range Tropheo Grecale last weekend and the interior was a good step up from other recent Masers, and it sounded fabulous.
That said, I’m waiting for the electric version to appear (maybe around December time, apparently) as a possible replacement for our E-Tron.
