Luxury Watch Repairs will send you a post paid envelope, insured to £25k but probably not by Monday. Perhaps a kind forum member can take delivery of it and send it off?

Cheers C. Wife can take delivery and send it off. Fear the worst. Will have to wear something else. Gutted isn’t close.
Thanks for your help.

Contact Christian the watch guy. He’s the only person I would trust with a high end watch. https://watchguy.co.uk/
Christian is good. If no joy, Ollie http://onatelier.co.uk can fix anything. Always a waiting list though, as always the case for the good ones.

Good luck, any watch is fixable :).
Thank you for these suggestions. I have a ladies Jaeger LeCoultre backwind watch that needs servicing/fixing and I had no idea who to go to about it.

Thanks Wattie. For some reason I really like this. What a bargain, just bought one for the collection!
Personally I’d put a nice leather black dress strap on it.
Just over £110- bargain!
Let us know what u think when u get it,

Good idea. It comes with a gold strap as pictured as well as a bright orange silicone strap - it'll be perfect for an upcoming trip to Ibiza where I've been warned about the Rolex gangs stealing watches from people's wrists

Sounds good, just don’t go swimming with it on!

The Swatch/Omega Moonwatch launch today was madness. My daughter was on the case and queuing at Carnaby St with about 200 others when they shut the shop and said come back tomorrow. Same story at the other 2 London shops. She is going to try again on Monday as she works in London.View attachment 98047
Did anyone manage to get one of these?
I’ve been looking for a Speedmaster alternative without the price….or the winding……

Still can’t get one and looking at the reviews on YouTube etc, they seem to be overhyped tat where the dye wears off in your wrist, so not sure I want one now.

You can get on eBay for about £500 upwards for as new if you’re desperate.

Interesting. I heard the same.
What do you think of this?

About £90.00 but I’d stick one of these on it.103257

quartz, waterproof,(obviously not with the leather strap) £160 all in. Ceramic too.

What’s not to like? Saving £5k?

Talking of which, several people have come up to me thinking my £250 Ciga Design skeleton watch is a £350k Richard Mille

Hmmm...

I bought my new Ciga to wear in Ibiza soon as I don't want a Rolex taken from me by the Rolex Robbers. It certainly looks considerably more expensive than it cost - may have to rethink this as I don't want to attract any unwanted attention.

Nice.
I’d have said it yours for £340k
Watches to me are a funny one. I’ve 1 decent gmt I never ever thought I’d treasure or aspire to.

You’ve a fantastic collection including a tourbillon (that I thought was an infectious disease) and reallly appreciate the horology.
I’ve ordered one and the strap too.
Excuisite taste in cars too.
