Oh come on, be a total nerd like me! Go the whole McQueen. I’m too fat and it doesn’t even do up. I’m far too old to care if anyone takes the p.ss!
The wife got in bath yesterday with her Rolex on and the winder slightly undone. The watch initially "steamed up" on the inside of glass. Now, having hung it upside down over night with the winder fully out, there are several small droplets on the inside of glass.
Any suggestions on what to do?
I would get it into an authorised Rolex repairer. No telling what has gone on inside. I have an excellent one at Peplows in Worcester. Get it to a good watch repairer as soon as possible with the water still in it. If you try to dry it by leaving the crown out all you will do is speed up the corrosion. It only takes the smallest amount of corrosion to kill the pivots.
Similar to above. Looks like I got water in my Glycine. Crown and winder mech have now departed company.
Recommended repairer please. Probably needs to be postal as I go back to Denmark Monday.
