I’ve been driving my Dad’s cooking 595C all week on A and B roads. We call it the little red Ambulance as it only seems to get used for high speed trips to and from hospital these days.
The ride doesn’t strike me as particularly hard, but it does hit the bump stops every now and then.
pros - grips and grips, sounds good and the short gearing makes it feel fast (only in Sport mode), still looks fresh, if a little too tall.
cons - seats feel too high and makes my ankles ache a bit, but that might just be me. They’ll always be a faster version out there and there are better colours. Interior not as nice as my wife’s MiTo. Small boot and small fuel tank. Could do with a bit more weight over the rear end as it can be a bit skippy. I think the short gearing would be a disadvantage on motorways.
Overall, the Abarth is good fun, but I still prefer the TwinAir engined MiTo for some strange reason.
