It was a pretty boring race. Most overtakes were due to mistakes, or DRS, and DRS of course, as usual basically promotes the faster (in a straight line) car to the front.
There is always an element of DRS makes overtakes, and if it wasn't there, it'd be a procession, but that felt like a procession anyway, and of course also had the false overtaking in there.
The safety car brought LeClerc alive, but of course DRS doesn't help so much when your car is close to 10mph slower in the first place, he was barely making 2-3ths up on that massive straight with DRS. Can't decide if LeClerc making mistakes is down to him pushing to hard, or just not having the experience. Ferrari should have stuck fresh tyres on, but probably had Imola in their minds.
Perez really should have made the podium at least, all that talk of him having a problem wasn't evident in the speed traps once he'd fallen out of DRS, where he was equalling Max's speeds, except in sector 1 where he was a couple of mph down.
Sainz did well to... finish.
Great race by Mick Schumacher running 9th until he binned it, and Russell is a class act, though of course strategy helped him out a lot.
The track looked interesting, and I think did well to deliver something that felt like an F1 circuit rather than a car park, but failed to deliver a good race.
