Unveiled today. I love the new Vantage but I think I would need to see this in the flesh first as some of the styling is a tad odd. No doubt it will be an amazing car to drive but the looks I think may take some getting used to. Sort of a cross between the new car some GT12 styling and other bits thrown at it. Only 333 being made so I bet it cost a lot of pennies.

It's a bit bling. Mrs Crud is already of the opinion that my Vantage is a bit slaggy, but that takes it to a whole new level of ostentatious.

Regardless, bloody bravo, Aston! I'm glad it exists. But it will never sound as good as the old V12s and it's still got that fugly Darth Vader interior and Merc switchgear.

I do wonder if people paying inflated prices for run out big engined sports cars are just riding the wave, have an accurate crystal ball or are just idiots. If they are being bought to use then I am sympathetic but if they will just sit in garages with the owner boasting bout how much it has gone up in value then it rather defeats the object of being a petrolhead.

If I had the money to be splurging on something like that, Bob, I'd have to assume I'd not see half of it back again. Any appreciation* would be a pleasant surprise.

*and I'd get none from Mrs Crud, let's be in no doubt.
