Not really a refurbishment in the true sense but a mega clean and replace the damaged dust seal (Brembo part at £11 plus £4 postage - flea bay) Also replace the T27 bolt which holds the guides in place, all 8 had rusted away, new solid lines from the caliper to the hub, 1 replacement link pipe between the caliper, a nice clean and then a paint in bright red.
Also repair to the cooling ducts, the fibreglass nozzle ends had come loose and worn away on the tyres, the hoses split and useless.
All ready for the Forum discs and yellow stuff pads.
One question what goes at the top the larger diameter (46mm) piston or the smaller one - and what way up are the bleed nipples? at the top or the bottom? link pipe at the other end. Eurospares drawing shows link pipe at the top.
Bleed nipples replaced with nice new stainless steel nipples.
All parts including nuts and bolts £70 Flea bay
