Well when you decide to scratch the early XJ-S itch give me a shout, I have a very early 'P' reg with the small mirrors etc.,.. low miles and lots of history in the launch car red with tan interior spec and it is a manual. I don't intend to sell it at the moment but who knows in the future!

An early manual XJ-S now that is a rare car

Looks fantastic - I could probably track that car down as it is a small community of owners (not many left). Did it have the original engine etc.?
Yes it had the original engine, but it was a high miler, but amazingly only 2 owners before me. I believe it is still around in ASOC as seen a couple of pics recently after it had undergone further improvements.

I have had a umber of Elise and it shows you don't need to have a huge engine to out a smile on your face. These are soooooo much fun but at 54 I don't think my back would like getting out of one without the roof off. If you have never driven one though I would highly recommend.

As you know there is a knack to it. After 7 years ownership of an S1 got the hang of it, and I'm 6-4 and at the time was 17 stone.

Ford Orion 1.6 Ghia . If I could get job paying ten grand a year and have enough to live on , that would be a good car.

Always attracted to exotic and dramatic stuff of course. Have no intention of getting that car now. Plenty of more attainable stuff on my list but not sure I ever vowed to get one. Maybe hoped to have more than one?

Detomaso mangusta. favorite dinky toy
365 GTB/4 favourite bigger toy
Ferrari P3/4. favourite remote control toy (on a wire)
1978 Celica GT (2000cc 6 cylinder?) walked past it most days to primary school.
Citroen SM. Grandad's friend at masonic lodge had one
Rover P6 (got one)

Respect.....6-4 and getting into an Elise is no mean-feet. I used to do that grunt thing when getting in and out at 35.....
