This. You can hear him giving it the max. Maybe cold tyres but not surprising and definitely w@nkerish given the location. If he’d hit that cyclist, well that’s life changing injuries if he’s lucky.

He could argue that the wheels lost traction on something (diesel? - spilled form a cornering lorry?*), hence why you could hear the engine spin up so fast. As for the camera, it did seem a bit odd that he'd be using one in the first place unless he had high-jinks in mind. More weird still that he'd then share it unless he was using it as proof that he wasn't being a plank.

*I remember when I was doing my bike test the instructor telling us that the outside edge of a corner was always the most dangerous part of the road because that's where ****-knuckle lorry drivers that have forgotten to replace the fuel cap dump diesel as they go through the corner.

That’s certainly the way it used to be. If they saw the camera they could ask to see it, but if you said no they needed a warrant. Posting it on social media is pretty much a d!ck move.

Lovely pic Phil. Note the monotone red 850 Mini on the left with the basic white speedo pod on the dash, it's probably a recce car for the works team. The red and grey seats casually dumped on the floor will be worth hundreds of pounds now if they appeared on ebay!
