It certainly was and I have had both my last one being a Daimler XJC but now I'm fancying another saloon like the picture above.
The Coupe was built on the series 1car.

They had a mention on the documentary about Rockfield recording studio in Monmouth on the weekend when Simpleminds recorded there. Worth a watch by the way. It's was brilliant.
