Stressful morning for me as it was our board meeting, PE investors are hard to please. Anyway all over now so I intend to take a long drive to the post office via a local pub that does takeaway ;)
This afternoon I have an important call about a potential acquisition- fingers crossed....... this evening I will be enjoying what’s left of the sunshine and then I have the rest of the week off

When are you expecting things to start up again, Martin? We have our quarterly retreat in a nice Piedmont vineyard coming up next month but as I live in the UK I'll need to attend by Zoom, which will be far less good. The food certainly won't be on a par.

We're open for business, but everybody is avoiding going into quarantine for their illicit mid-week jaunt with the secretary or dirty weekend with the girlfriend, all thanks to Priti Patel. Place is a ghost town...

Just lookng at the figures, we normally do 900+ movements in a typical summer (450+ departures and 450+ arrivals). LGW record is 950! This year we'll be lucky at getting 400 by Christmas even with the Spanish abolishing their quarantine laws. (they know that any outbreak won't be their problem but the NHS').

Good morning everyone, actually going into work today to oversee our Met Sensors being calibrated. Should be fun getting the temperature probes down to zero today... Ice ice baby... Your ear worm for today.

Good for the environment, I suppose. We're under the east-bound flights out from Heathrow and Stansted, where they cross the coast over the North Sea. Stansted seems to be mostly cargo and private, Heathrow has lots of China-bound flights (BA and China Eastern) as well as Qatar out to Doha. And that's more or less it. My chances of getting down to Italy next month for work are less than 10%, I'd say, Monaco in October better than 70%. Anyhoo...

Morning, all. Today will be a day without electricity, so we'll see how good Vodafone's 4G network is out here in the wilds. Good enough for a passable day's work, hopefully. As Zoom calls kill batteries, I've cut right back on them for the day. Zoom de-tox. Nice.

Have fun, all, and remember your suncream.

Morning all.
After a very pleasant day and evening in the garden yesterday and a few drinks with a couple of socially distanced friends, we've woke to another glorious day. Breakfast by the pond was lovely.

Today..... Drum roll..... We are going out for the day !
We've been sheilding, so other than about four trips out for essentials we couldn't get delivered, and a docs appointment (and to take the GTS for a spin ;)) , we literally haven't been anywhere.

Our poor nearly 3 year old daughter, has literally asked to go the the beach every day for the last 3 months, so today will be the day.
We'll hopefully find a nice quite spot so we can stay away from the masses, and she can have the day she's been dreaming about for months lol.

Have a good day all.
