If anyone spots a 458 / 488 / F12 on the auctions I would appreciate it if you could give me a shout. I just missed out on one a forum member spotted for me. Although I think in 8 weeks it will be the time to grab a bargain
Ooh that is looking nice. Turned my head away from looking the GT MC-shift on auto trader.
Anything going through copart we might like?Seems a few of the trade are using copart to out a few cars , was watching and bidding earlier , must have been 30 cars used catergory ( not catted )about 80% sold silly money , and i mean silly , what surprised me 2017 amg C63 flood engine damage sold for £32K and they quoted a retail of £48K which is on the high side , buggered if i would lay that out to risk making £5 or £6K
Mainly run of the mill ,lot of Bmw seems like they have already fallen off the cliff as there is glut, few mercs , and the Gransport went for a few hundred more than I was prepared to pay , maybe one to regret ,but I no longer chase ,my limit is my limitAnything going through copart we might like?
Wish I was technical enough to repair it! Is that a cali T or a PF?

That link isn’t working sadly. I wouldn’t be against it for a keeper- I would pay a finders fee! Would be interesting to see some pics of the PF it looked quite nicePortofino SA some more picks of it here, https://www.hbc.co.uk/cgi-bin/zyview/D=vehicles/V=reserve_all
To be honest Ian, one doesnt need to be super talented but it helps in some instances , you just need to know the right people who do good work , and do the maths , taking into account buying the vehicle, parts and labour , i only ever do it for myself as in a keeper...................not to sell on for profit , though its a good way to get into high end cars for around 40-50% of the value when you do it right , Buy one that is mostly light panel damage , and most are bolt on now days , so really just a good body shop required , the higher end the car , generally they are very well looked after both internally and mechanicaly

I’m no expert but I would have thought to get that back to tip top shape would be ‘tricky’Think getting that hard top roof to work properly again will be one of the harder parts of that repair.
