Well guys, it seems to me if you haven't got a proper job helping the NHS right now you need to stay at home!
Building sites and all that stuff, old car workshops like mine unfortunately will have to close as there's far too much personal interaction mending old stuff, then there's the insurance implications!

Its hard work if your self employed...

Hopefully I'll be back rockin in June!

Yes. There is great data.

So much data, it’s coming out of our ears. However, a lot of it is supposition and conjecture (as to what will happen next) but it does stir up the fears of the sheep. The only reliable guide is what has happened so far but that will only be apparent later. Still, mass panic is better than nothing.

So Ben, you'll be doing a runner up in the north and keeping your head down then;)

For those who are well informed and read the literature, there is very clear demographic data across the 300,000 deaths so far. Split clearly into age categories with risk stratification according to Comorbities. Sadly IQ, obstinence and sense of humour aren’t included. 50% of ITU beds are occupied by under 60s. 8% of the deaths in Italy were health care workers under the age of 60. Lots of other info out there for interested parties. There is no need to incite panic, just to realise that it isn’t only the over 80s with Health problems who are at risk. Meanwhile you can hide at home with your head in the sand- it’s better than no mask.

On a lighter note, a mate of mine at work suggested freezing the bog roll to make it last longer. He said you can freeze bread, even milk, why not toilet paper? I said put it in the freezer, and I guarantee it will last longer.:D

Me either , I stayed up until midnight hoping to sleep until 7am , still woke up at 5:30am

Some clarification on the new rules, I guess I'm not going to collect that rowing machine I just bought

A few disturbing pics are floating about regading gatherings in churches and Mosques , i noticed this was never mentioned in BJ's brief last night , do we take it that these are included under gatheings of more than 2 or what ,looking at the stats last night its apparent that a large % of cases in Wolverhampton are predominantly Asian not surprisingly and has one of the countries highest recorded infections

True story - 3 people in my team had all the virus symptoms (fever, difficulty breathing, muscle aches etc...) and called 111. They were asked their age first thing - and each being in their late 20s / early 30s - they were told to self isolate and call back if it got worse and needed hospitalisation.
They weren’t asked for any personal information or anything that would enable identification. A few of my friends have also confirmed similar stories.
How the **** can we trust official reported figures?? Without falling into a case of conspiracy theory - are they just trying to artificially fudge numbers to calm people down and make themselves look better than they are??
I am disgusted!
But you cant really accept any of the figures other than the number of people sadly dying. Until the antibody test is made available to everyone, no one, including the UKG will have a full understanding of how far the virus has actually spread into the population. Only then will they know what the true mortality rate is as a % of the population. So for now just see the infection rate figures as an indicator ( a trend indicator) until better data us available.
Right I'm off out now to try and find some milk!

Loz he did say that churches were to be closed so imagine that was meant to cover it.
