Poorly paid? Insane amount of money?

Don't understand. Anyway, lower League clubs (and higher irrespective of wages) are doing what they can to look after staff and family. Hope we can all agree that's good.

This is an unprecedented situation.

I thought you were saying that league one players were poorly paid. If you weren’t apologies.

Either way as long as their actions don’t affect others and they follow the government’s advice they can do as they please.

I was only joking as I have limited ball playing ability.

Oh pigs bladder, again. Missing the point. Captain cliche.

I run a business and if I wanted to pay £6k to have my staff tested so Ididn't put a strain on the public purse and limit chances of further infection to family and friends I'd do it. Just like these guys have.

No let's talk pigs bladders instead. Words fail me.

My main point being Dave , if test kits are available ( whether private of not ) then surely they should be prioritised or commandered for front line services who appear to be struggling particularly in this area amongst others , once they are in abundance then obviously excess supplies should be made available for private use , Surely any shortage of test kits should be reserved for front line to deal with the masses , not just for the selected few who have a rich boss ,or who are on ridiculous money . Footballers are not a priority at this time whereas front line services are absolutely crucial ............................

Indeed Loz but these were brought in (they waited a week) from an external source thus not affecting any other deserving causes.

Were paid for directly by the employer at no cost to you and I. So a bit unfair to chastise I feel.

If they were available but no commandeered why should they be denied?

It’s all a bit doom and gloom so two things to perhaps cheer you up.

Yesterday was the first day in almost two weeks that we’ve had no new sick/isolating staff. Admittedly we’re part of a very safety conscious industry so are indoctrinated to follow the rules. If only everyone else would do the same.

And on the subject of sinophobia

Our local Tesco is doing nhs only from 9 tomo morning until normal Sunday opening.
TBH I dont know why the supermarkets cant accept shopping lists from NHS staff which they can pick up the following day, at the end of their shifts. At least then they can be confident they will get what they need. Cant be that hard to organise ,can it? Come on Supermarkets get a bit more imaginative in your support!
