It does sound tasty so hats off to Maserati for that bit of magic.

£140k plus, hum, that really is pushing it for an SUV.

God Sophie is annoying, does every 2nd word need an inflection. I keep expecting the next sentence to be “and now for your magnificent enema”.

“Only one of its kind”!? you come across that in geeky Corvette circles, just coz Dale ordered it in pink with white accents and the yellow interior doesn’t make it any more special than the next one.

I like them, Edinburgh Maserati have this grey one in stock. Looks mean. I reckon you can get one new for £110k easily enough. It's still a load of cash but similar to a Cayenne Turbo and Audi RSQ8 which are its competitors. Still fortunes less than a Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus. Buckets of money, it will likely plumment in value but that doesn't stop these kind of cars from selling, especially of they can get a decent lease/pcp deal in place on them.

Heck, the Range Rover 5.0 P565 is £250k so price doesn't seem to be a factor!

I'm also very pleased indeed that Maserati are building something that's a bit silly. I want them to do that more. Much Much More.

I reckon in a few years time the petrol ones are going to be a proper bargin. Wonder if you can fit a towbar.

You could gave a used Vantage V12S and Stradale for that money.....I know what I would have....Or a used Stradale and QP GTS with money to spare ......and no matter what power or engine they put in it it will always big pig ugly to me.....Time has not improved the looks for me at all....

That's the same old argument for any car purchase. I could have bought 10 Volkswagen Ups instead of the FF but then that would have been boring as....

For those that are lucky enough to be able to spend six figures on an SUV that would get stuck in a field, the Trofeo offers an interesting alternative to the usual de facto choices and for that, we should rejoice.

Just wish they had the same focus on the other cars in the range and not this.....Get 100% what you are saying....

You won’t get a Trofeo for £110k but a Levante GTS you probably could. I have seen a bright Yellow Trofeo version being delivered. Available used in 18 months time for 50p.

Bargain! What’s there to lose... except around £50,000/ year...

Looks like a good way to throw 80k away to me , I can't see that being worth 60k in 3 years with 30,000 miles on it and no warranty.

Plenty of people are willing to lose £2k (or more) per month on driving a flashy new car. It’s surprisingly easily done! There are plenty of RR SVR’s, Bentayga’s, etc out there. And none sound as good as the Trofeo.

People that lose that kind of money on cars do it to be seen in them as much as drive them, as nice as it may sound does it have the image to go with the 140k price.

Changed my mind, the world has gone mad,
This is a finance example for a plug in hybrid Vauxhall Grandland X64992X

Blimey Charlie. £47k for a Vauxhall. I bet they are flying out of the showrooms!
