Had some meetings with my team and my boss today. The subject of the Jaaaaaaag came up.

I sold the GT because I wasn't perceived to be in Nottingham enough. No sooner do I get the Jaaaaaag sorted than we have a non essential travel ban imposed. So now I don't have a GT and the reason for not having a GT has evaporated.

I have seldom felt so much like exploding at my team and my 'boss' . I didn't. But it was hard.

I miss my bloody car!

That is all (no sympathy required, I have privilege and benefit but by damned that stings)

Not sure about your post....Your boss influenced you to change car ownership choice? And on top of that because of not Nottingham enough?
And a Jaguar IS?
Lots of concerns about your post....

I’m confused. Is it that your boss is the sheriff of Nottingham and he’s banned Maseratis?

If so, where’s Robin Hood now we really need him?

Sorry to hear that Chris. Tough one to take on the chin but rise above it. Maybe it is going to force you to deal with the impending GT S 4.7 MC issue. DO IT ;)

I feel your pain, quite a few years ago we moved house to be near my wifes work, not the sole reason, and she got the Porsche Cayenne GTS to commute 3 miles to work. Couple of years ago her work relocates to near where we used to live, so total daily commute is now 55 miles, which at 10-15 mpg is not great. So in a moment of weakness i agreed to have cayenne as my daily driver as she loves the car, and would trade a 2 great cars (my opinion) for a cheap to run car for her. At least i still have Maserati and clio v6 to offset the pain.

Buy YOUR car back :)

I don't think Jake would let me.

In honesty I want an MC, probably white with Carbon. I really need to get the kitchen, rest of the windows and final bit of decoration done.
Let Mrs C get a new job
Make sure I still have a job.
Get back from holiday
Pay the tax bill

Then start looking.

Current aim is Le Mans Classic

Cheers

I empathise Chris, if I have to leave this job in 2 weeks, looking likely, I will post an explanation on this thread explaining why. I’m willing to bet I’ve the most unique job loss situation.......ever.....
