Have a look at this link. The 3200Gt was originally a concept car produced for Daewoo by Guigiaro.

An interesting article indeed.
No matter what the origin, the 3200GT is still one of the all time classic pieces of automotive design. Nothing is ever completely original. Everything in design has to come from somewhere. Lucky for us that Giugiaro and Modena captured the essence and got it so right. An interesting article indeed.
Which book are you referring to please?Check out Mr Cozzi’s book for an understanding of the above. Well worth the read.

Check out this link:I always thought it was Proton (Malaysia) that it was designed for? Either way, I’m glad Maserati got it as it is in my opinion one of the best shaped cars ever, I have always loved the fastback style and curves.
One I have is 2018 edition ISBN 978-88-7911-716-6Thank you for that. Any idea of the difference between the versions with a blue or red cover?
I have the blue one from Amazon. It should specify which language you are buying. Amazon is more expensive but gets to you quickly. I don’t know what the postage is from Italy - probably more even though the book is cheaper. The English edition has a few editing errors in translation but pretty good none the less. It’s a bit episodic but great on fact.Giorgio Nada Editore
The Giorgio Nada Editore's official site, specializing in books on cars and motorcycles, The italian publisher leader in motoring books...www.giorgionadaeditore.it
Here they show the red cover for Italian and blue cover for English, but web searches show the English title with both red and blue covers.
