was just reading with interest the spring motoring classic mag which has a feature on classic electric conversions and although I don't like modern day electric motors I'm quite attracted to a classic conversion, there's 5 uk companies now that can and have converted classic motors for owners and some provide kits for owners to do the conversion, everything from Ferrari 308, merc sl, beetles, porshes 911's, beemers, mg's, 2 cv's, fiat 500, range rovers, 1960's mustangs. Also read that by 2020 the e type zero will be available and aston martin seem to be getting in on the act as well with a db6 mk2 volante conversion
