What's on telly?

A thread dedicated to sharing stuff we've seen or are watching on the box. As telly ain't what I used to be (them was the days!) we should include all sorts, whether from Netflix, Amazon Prime, or God help us, the latest insights into the Kardashians on HayU.

Mrs Crud and I have just started on the original House of Cards, which is mouth-wateringly sinister, refreshingly nasty and thoroughly entertaining. I love a nasty hero. It was written by Michael Dobbs, Mrs T's speech-writer.

House of Cards: just finished season 6. Enjoy the journey.

We kind of lost interest with Frank not in it. It became, to quote one reviewer, a web without a spider. Until then it was superb. Well, we thought daft at times until Trump got in, and then it all seemed far more plausible.

I’m currently hooked on Breaking Bad. Working through Season 2 on Netflix. Addictive...

On my telly there is a photo of me and the wife, one of those NEOM diffusers, and a remote for the sound bar which we never use....

Have I missed the point of this thread?

The Man in the High Castle on Amazon is good if a little strange (it's based on a Philip K Dick novel). There's a QP1 in series 1 IIRC.

Luther, Line of Duty and Peaky Blinders also all well worth a watch. I think they're all on Netflix now.

Wasn't impressed by High Castle. Luther and Line of Duty are excellent

Started watching Prison Break but 3 episodes in, you kind of knew what was coming and couldn't be arsed to watch the other 5 episodes.

The Walking Dead...yes, Im still hanging in there but TBH since Rick has gone (Andrew Lincoln) it turned to pants....sort of reminds me of Lost and they are just going through the motions to keep selling it and make money. I am on the verge of giving up but it was probably the best series (tied with Breaking Bad) I've seen in the last 20 years.

Current. Cold Feed was excellent last series that has just finished. Before that it was the wife making me watch it and thought it was all very 'chick flick'.

Other favs, Luther and Killing Eve.

Other than that I just go round and round on repeats of:
Top Gear (old)
Wheeler Dealers
Fast n Loud
Car SOS
Chasing Classic Cars

Oh., cock. I bought it on Amazon Prime. That's five quid I won't see again. I'll get the other series on BBC Archive.
