Yeah, that's the case he is trying to make - but not easy
In his case it's simply totting up of "relatively " minor speeding 35 in a 30 / 46 in a 40 etc......
His firm have a precedent of dismissal for losing licence -
I know this is the friendliest forum on the internet but I'm going to be the one to say it ,this guy needs a break from driving , anyone that gets caught that often in built up areas is driving everywhere over the limit.
Hasn't he realised yet, he has all those points for no reason whatsoever because even though he thinks he's making progress all he's doing is getting to the next set of lights 20 seconds faster.
I worked as a courier for 25 years, in and out of unfamiliar towns on a daily basis, I've had a clean licence since 1996 because I don't speed in 30 & 40 limits.
Almost every day I drive through a village called Penketh , it has a dual carriageway 30mph about 2 miles long , many many cars overtake me, some doing 33 , some 40 and some dicks faster than that.
Occasionally the van is there so they get some points, almost without exception I'm sat behind them at the lights at the end of the dual carriageway , or the next set , or the set after that.
Someone who has 12 points has had their 4 chances, it should be as clear cut as drunk driving IMO, 4 strikes and you're out for 6 months, the fact he knows he's likely to lose his job as well is unbelievable.
I read about a guy that kept his licence because his disabled son would suffer , so this **** can keep speeding everywhere putting all our kids at risk but his will be fine in his car
It really pisses me off
