Is your car a keeper

Exactly! Why spend on it and then sell it? Surely you need to enjoy it rather than giving it to someone else to enjoy? :D

No intention of selling immediately after the service (regardless of cost). I plan to keep/enjoy for at least another year. However, if I am thinking of selling after 12 months, I would sell then so the new owner/buyer doesn't need to worry about servicing for a further 12 months / 6k miles as this would help resale. As I have said before I have no plans to sell, just saying that I cannot completely rule it out indefinitely.

I bought my 4200 6 years ago as a 'keeper' and nothing has changed that.
I waited years to buy my perfect car and why change that? Plus it's a low-mileage example with money thrown at it when required, so is now worth nearly what I paid.
I reckon people who keep their cars begin to mould themselves irrevocably to them. Also current cars can't match the interior ambience of the 3200/4200/GS.

If I like changes; I can do that with my regular daily car.

Only a Stradale could tempt me to part with my GS, but for the same money I could get an early Gallardo, which kind of rules out the Strad.

Man maths making it look like an early GT may be on the cards later this year in exchange for the GS

I'd take the rear lights and hood vents but prefer the stance of the GS and the MCV with the splitter and spoiler works for me.

Agreed. The rear lights and bonnet vents are the best bits of the 3200, both could be grafted onto a later car. You see neither when you're behind the wheel and the GS is much more of a driver's car IMO. I had a 3200 for a few years and loved it. I've had 2 GranSports since and wouldn't swap for a 3200.

I've had a GS for two years and love it. Can't think of anything that I could replace it with the same spread of abilities, charisma etc. The only bugbear is reports of cracking wishbones and hubs corrodes confidence and is absolutely not what you expect (or need) from any car, never mind a heavy high performance one.
