Any dealer worth his salt can quote business finance on the Ghibli!!!

I have been doing for my customers at their request.

I suggest you ask again or seek a dealer thats willing to do some work for his customer!

Gary out of interest how is the Ghibli pre orders going......Arte people waiting to drive the car or is there a waiting list yet.

Inevitably there will be a waiting list. Even if each dealer has only sold a few and orders are below Maserati UK aspirations, there is still a waiting list as no RHD cars have been delivered yet!

When I signed for my GranTurismo nearly three years ago, it was here less than three months later. Very few long waits for any car these days.

I've said it before but the three litre diesel comparator cars - BMW, Audi, Merc, Jag - all sell in tiny volumes viz a viz their two litre diesel stablemates. Think how many 520d you see to every 530/535d? You can now even get an X5 or ML with a two litre diesel engine. The question is how downmarket is Maserati prepared to go?

I went to look at the 3 granturismo and the best selling engine is the 2.0, its the best selling throughout BMW.....
X5 5 x3... They are bringing it out in the 6 series next year!!

I mis-read that at first and presumed that you were being flippant about the GranTurismo replacement and it's engine choices!

.....touring is far better. I had a 320d X Drive Touring when my Maser was in for a service and it was stunning. Not worth £40k mind but you get lots of six month old BMWs that have been pre-registered and then sit in Thorne for a few months before selling at 30% off with a few hundred miles on them.

...they just knew that there was a BMW badge on the front and the car was better than the Focus owned by Dave in Accounts?
