Sorry guys, once I start to post... Can't stop
I have now had the car for about a week... Found a few minor issues:
1. There is a very brief metallic clattering noise when I start the engine in the morning... Only lasts around 5 seconds. Not sure what is causing it, although it is very minor.
2. I found a big gap between the front cover and the edge of the steering wheel. I could even see inside the steering whelk through this gap. Again, while it is minor, I wondered if it is due to the fact that airbag was deployed before? When I asked the Graypaul dealer, I was reassured that the car has never had a car accident before and they had checked the car thoroughly before putting it up for sale. Unfortunately I could not even check the history, before the VIN can not be found on a few websites.
3. Th sound system, although not used very often at all, seems to have a few issues. The only function working is the radio and the AUX. The CD, USB, and jukebox function all disabled in the configuration/setting menu.
4. I found several of the nuts securing the engine cover are almost 'round', I think it will not be easy to unscrew some of these.
5. Th passenger seat seems to have a mind of its own, for the comfort access, it would sometimes move forward and move back again to its original position.
6. Not an issue, but just to share my thoughts on Supaguard. A lot of people said that this is a wast of money, but I got the dealer throwing in Supaguard in and out for free. I can definitely say that the paint just feels so silky smooth and much easier to clean, so I can definitely see the benefits of having it applied.
Anyway, the dealer has agreed to sort out all these for me, and will come and pick up my car and leave me with another loan car while the works are being done.
Not sure if I am just being too picky, but I guess this is one of the biggest advantages of buying from a Maserati Dealer?
Apart from the minor issues, I surely am enjoying the car, just tried hard not to keep the RPM at 3000+ (being the automatic model).
