Well after a few very busy weeks and big life changes I finally took some time to take a look at the GS today. Apart from moving it to my new house 4 weeks ago (1mile) I hadn't driven her for quite some time. She had an intermittent problem that threw her into limp mode when the throttle pedal was pressed. I had a similar issue a couple of years ago so had an idea what was at fault. I finally bought a c-tek charger as I now have a nice garage for the car, removed the battery and charged it over a couple of days. I also bought a brake light switch from Meridien (great service from Ross) and replaced it today, a 2-minute job. She's fixed! £22! I'm delighted, but have probably jinxed her now. She's filthy and may not get a clean before tomorrow, but she's making an appearance!

Checked into the hotel. There's a load of ****** people in there this evening for a party.
Although it will be the calm before tomorrow's storm.

Well I am on antibiotics. So no alcohol for me. How sad. But I need to drive home afterwards anyway - so probably best. Looking forward to tomorrow.

I would say stay safe and behave yourselves but a) I'm not your Dad and b) you wouldn't listen anyway.

We have had a lovely day in London filling our faces and now settled in to the Novotel at Brentford so that we can get to the Ace for 9.

Don't know why I bothered cleaning the car yesterday as it is covered in shite from the trip down!

Got nearly 26 mpg on the way down, I'm sure that will change tomorrow ;-)
