We went up north one year......Milton Keynes......:lol2:
Flipping heck. Any further north and you would have needed your passport :)

You need to travel a bit further north than Milton Keynes. The flat beer and southern jessy barfing doesnt stop till the midlands ! :)

You could always try a more central venue for next year. Somewhere like the Hinkley Island hotel is pretty much the middle of the country. It would even be a shorter trip for any of the Scottish contingent that wanted to come down.

Just a thought it may make it more practical for the northern contingent.

I couldn't possibly stay in a hotel that was owned/run by one of my clients!

Almost had a panic attack when I saw that Crowne Plaza Marlow is owned by a potential client. Then realised we'll probably be somewhere else next year!

With them being a client I couldn't possibly say anything derogatory about them. However.........

What Martin said ^^^^^^

To be fair we only see them when they are rammed to bursting. But yes it was. Although MPW steakhouse was OK last time

If we're looking for a hotel with a car park big enough for all our cars, a place for the meal and a night club as well then the Bredbury Hall near Stockport is an all in one place.

Stu will be laughing... But it's about middle of the country...

:lol2: :lol2: were you thinking of Dem when you suggested that Martin.

To be fair its a nice hotel and the meal should be good but the club isnt for the faint hearted :)

The club isn't for the faint hearted, no. Dem would be in his element. I'm sure Stockport would have an half decent karting place.

Maybe we could change the Xmas do around different areas every year.

Warrington might be far from Stockport but at least it's handy for the motorways just off the M6 and M62...

Its probably quicker to get to Warrington than it is to get to Trafford park at this time of year. Road works and xmas shopping play havoc with the motorway and thats if United are not playing as well.

Karting in the afternoon, easy for the members travelling on the M6 and M62. Then check into the hotel and continue with the meal and festivities followed by the world famous club for those that want it afterwards. :lol2:
