No idea. It showed the E for about 10 minutes yesterday and then went back to normal. I'm guessing everything will systematically start to fail now it's gone over 60k!

Indeed. I had a brand new air con pump fitted in January so it's unlikely to be anything other than Italian electrics doing their thing.

Mine does it every so often as well Maf but the air con is still working fine so i'm not worried about it. I did discover a few days ago that the rear window demist only seems to work on mine if I have the air con set to demist on the front as well (max setting). I cant see the point in having the rear demist button if that is the only way it works.

Well you have oil pressure and the coolant temps okay so your oil/water pump unit working

Mine does it every so often as well Maf but the air con is still working fine so i'm not worried about it. I did discover a few days ago that the rear window demist only seems to work on mine if I have the air con set to demist on the front as well (max setting). I cant see the point in having the rear demist button if that is the only way it works.

That's not the way it works on a 4200. At least on mine....

That's definitely not the only way it works. You have an electrical issue!!
