Not the greatest year agreed and I can't see anything changing until they agree a new rule set. Although they do make a bit more sound than when they first moved to turbo hybrids, might even be able to hear them live this weekend

Cracking race this afternoon too, Forza Ferrari

and Hamilton went off for a little cry!

Why did he go off to cry....to end up 2nd from plum last was a great drive. I get they all want to win but he did a great job.

Like a lot of todays yoof, he is a temperamental soul - I never quite get when they have so much talent they just can't focus on the positives, after the first lap he was plum last and ended up with 18 points that is a result in anyones book.

Point of note though, on a fast circuit like Silverstone the Ferrari and Mercedes are in a different league, they can pass anyone almost anywhere with ease

I guess it could just be that he really wanted to win it and felt like he let a lot of people down. Much like your 5 year old not winning the egg and spoon race.

Back to footy forget shite F1. So bring on the Croats, this could well be our first real test although the game against the Russians wasn't dazzling.

Was working behind the bar at a charity event but had a big TV behind the bar. Thought they controlled it really well but Stirling just irritates me, should he start?

Agreed, despite Sterling being really poor this World Cup and not being able to shoot or hold the ball he did trouble the Swedes by simply running at them. This is our best chance of making the final since 66.

To be fair Geoff he has been very poor so far. He needs to learn to either pass the ball (missed two to Kane on Saturday) and also shoot as soon as he receives the ball again look at Sat when it should have been a goal on 1 to 1 with the Keeper. Very over rated player.

He's been anything but poor. He drags defenders all over the place. Knackers them out. Ask any professional if they would rather play against a slow player with an eye for goal or a quick one who scores now and again, they will 99 times out of 100 say the slow player.

He's a confidence player in front of goal, if he scores one, he'll get loads. Give him too much time he over thinks it (like a number of players).
If it's a split second he'll score.

What a load o ********, what counts more in a game? Having one guy who can run with a ball a few times to tire some of the defenders or a striker/attacking player who can actually put the ball in the net? Scoring goals is what counts not how many you nearly score. The fact is that he should have scored in that game and his finishing is absolutely abysmal.

His finishing has been poor but I think he will score in the next game. He deserves it.

It's a team game. What does it matter if he doesn't score again for the rest of his England career, if he pulls defenders out of position for others to score?

I still can't take your football comments seriously after you said the this current French team is better than the one which won the world cup in 1998.
