Now is this her back up for sale once more?

Hardly an extra mile on the clocks...but with a few extra ££££ on her...Well that happenes to women as they age ;o) !!!!

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...page/1/radius/1500/postcode/bs167as?logcode=p

Would require a 12 month service as the oil will be old despite the lack of use which would not be good for the heart.

If anyone is interested in it and if it is my old one WM03 FZD I have a history summary.

I dunno Peter...the prices have bobbed about this last 18mths....................all depends on miles and condition and service history........but nothing wrong with paying 14.5 or so for it.

.....again.......prices are moving about......never mind the margin for a dealer....its what he thinks he will get.......harder to value as they get older supercars.......all depends on those 3 facts above

Christ you should have kept her Pete....The gap between you lovely 4200 and a GS would have been less now...

Was in the area today after being in Doncaster first.

It is my old car with just 1,800 miles extra since I sold her. Car has now had the front bumper cone re-painted, but sadly not a perfect match. Needs an anual and clutch was at 70% when sold and not renewed

These cars are now at the iffy stage for maintenance. When I sold my 4200 I knew that it needed xyz in the next 12 months. Doubt any of it has been done.

Apart from the service and the clutch being at 70% the car did not require anything when sold at 70.5k. It had a 68k service at Emblem just before it was sold [at 69,5k] with no items to note except wiper blades being 12 month old!!! even the MOT only advised wear on the rear tyres which were replaced with Verdi's that weekend.

Car had £28k worth of service and repairs over its life...but as Andy K states, the service due in March will be a small £700 one to keep the books and history at 100% by-the-book, and a clutch if it starts jumping out of gear [which it never did] at £1500, so 18k...Must have been a steal last May went it went for just over £12k...what was I thinking ;0)

4200's are at the age now when depreciation will be slow or even stable because of the brand. Obviously, a well cared cared for car like Peter's will keep it's value for much longer.
