Only the odd one on the uppers Dino...sorry to hear about it.

Eurospares are doing a discount on their pattern parts if that helps.

Hi Deano, sorry to hear this, be sure to fill out the DVSA report for both, they may be a toothless wonder but at least is is more evidence.

Hi Deano - yes I had a cracked osf lower and os rear upper simultaeously though I suspect that the rear had been cracked for longer - it was only when I was replacing the front that I checked the rears and found that had gone as well.

Hi Folks,

Not had a letter myself. I love my GS but this issue scares the **** out of me...and I now read that hubs are prone to cracking too! It really beggars belief.

So....I'll be spending money getting everything checked every six months from now on...but wonder if this even this is pointless? Do these buggers just 'go' and that's it?

I haven't had a letter either. It suggests a poor sense of leadership from the top man. Maybe someone should speak to him. I would, but I don't know where in Barbados he is staying (That is where they all go when there is trouble at home. Right?).

I have no letter either. It seems Maserati agreed a plan of action regarding warning letters to affected owners but then forgot to put the plan into action.

It seems only a handfull of letters went out or have been recieved by the current owners. Shame we cant figure out what percentage of owners have been notified. DVSA dont seem to care either.

Maybe a reminder letter to VOSA or a FOI on how many owners VOSA have been told have been written to.

Guessing only the " complainers " got a letter..........

I did not complain but received a letter a few months ago.

Seems to be no logic as to who got letters and who didnt certainly not all car owners affected have been notified. Between us all maybe its worth a joint letter being sent to all our individual local MP"S copies to DVSA and Maserarti UK all posted the same day. For the price of a stamp each you never know. Some jobs worth in the DVSA cant be bothered to enforce the agreed plan of action.

I'd think it's the same as the criteria for changing junctions, altering speed limits etc, there have to be deaths before anything happens

i didn't complain but did get a letter. You have to be registered as an owner via a dealer i think. I had some dealings with Grey Paul in Edinburgh so i am on the Maserati dealers list. They clearly have not gone through DVLA.

That's funny, I'm registered at a Luxembourg dealer and got no notice.
Apparently the advisory is only for UK cars. They must be built with a different kind of wishbone :)
