Only sure in as much Matt ( conaero) has said it repeatedly & in the context of wheel/tyre damage from sidewall stiffness.
BFG Goodrich are Michelin as I understand it….( acquired them in 1990 )
Knowing that, I find it unlikely it’s Pirelli tbh!
This was back in the 4200 days, the Pirelli were terrible due to the stiffened sidewall….hit a pothole and it splits the top of the tyre, leaving you stranded. Vreds did exactly the same thing. They were Giugario designed (as on the side of the tyre) so made the Italian/Pirelli connection and put two and two together.

As I said this was a long time ago and may not have the same parallels nowadays.

This thread provides succour to the aggrieved and unfortunate, that this is but a minor bump in the road, all part of the rich tapestry of Maserati ownership.

More sweet those days when the car is on-song, and crossing continents, knowing the lows from which you have ascended.

I seem to have come across all peculiar....!

True, time to reflect.
To be honest it was a lovely sunny day whilst we were waiting in the car park;, then a 'Brucie Bonus' when Jordan Henderson (footballer) walked around the corner and had a chat. really nice guy.
Next stop was the pub to reflect, whilst waiting for the tow truck, on how lucky we were to break down in such civilised circumstances. You meet the nicest people in a Maserati.
