Don’t tell me, there’s was rain in the next door county, it was only 18 degrees C, you were doing 7mph around a slight bend, but because the car had Pirelli’s it was uncontrollable and you lost the back end. Am I right?

Didn’t know about that, but they have been my tyre of choice since about 2012 when I fitted them to my DB7 vantage - fitted to various XJ’s my first MC Granturismo and now the Strad.

In my opinion a great all rounder and exceptional in the summer.

Are you sure???

They are owned by an Indian Co now (Apollo Tyres) and before that BF Goodrich had a 40% stake... can't see Pirelli giving them tyre tech.

Only sure in as much Matt ( conaero) has said it repeatedly & in the context of wheel/tyre damage from sidewall stiffness.
BFG Goodrich are Michelin as I understand it….( acquired them in 1990 )
Knowing that, I find it unlikely it’s Pirelli tbh!

According the website it was not an acquisition by Goodrich, they opened a shared factory together, they were acquired by Apollo in 2009.

Either way - great tyres IMO

yeah/no. Goodrich ( originally USA) were bought by Michelin in 1990
Apollo own Vredestein...(acquired in 2009) Headoffice in Holland ( I thought Vred were Dutch all this time!>! ooops)
