The story goes Bucks Fizz did a concert on an oil rig in the North Sea (not mine I hasten to add!) True.
The show went down well to the mainly male audience. There are 'ladies' on an oil rig too. True
Anyway the fog rolled in and they had to stay overnight. They left the next day and the unwashed bedding was promptly auctioned. Interestingly the male bedding achieved a higher amount of funding than the female bedding
Any conclusions?

Morning, all. Another stifling hot night. Roll on those storms! The harvesting, heat and dry air makes more for a pretty oppressive atmosphere. Nevertheless, had a cracking dinner with friends last night on their way back to the Netherlands. Came out of the restaurant and were presented with this view, which reminds me why I'm lucky to live where I do.



It also highlighted how impressive the camera is on the iPhone X.

Back to what passes for normality, today I shall be working at home.

Morning all. After a day in the sweltering city of London yesterday I now have a day in a nice air conditioned office.

Can't believe I'm actually hoping it will rain, just to cool things down for my bike ride on Sunday. Although by the looks of this, it will actually rain on the big day, but no big deal, at least it should be cooler.
