Morning. Welcome back, Midlife. You may as well just stay at Gatwick now. Hardly worth going home, is it..?

Mick, good luck for a fast return to being behind the wheel.

Interesting desk conversation. I haven't had one for about 10 years. I don't miss the days of people writing their names on staplers to so one 'steals' them, and gets cross if someone changes the settings on 'their' chair.

Also working from home today. I'd considered going to the office but it's just too bloody hot to be traipsing round London. I get more done from here, plus I get to sit in the garden.

Morning everyone
Looks good again outside and a spot of rain over night will save me watering the garden again.
Off for coffee soon and then free later on.

I was talking to a mate who said that Wylam Brewery has opened a place on the Gateshead side of the river which is well worth a visit. Might be worth a walk over for some proper beer!

Morning! I haven't had to resort to the box of my stuff yet, although I guess my desk drawers are where I keep most stuff and that's the thing going on adventures at the moment. I think I may just embrace the comedy (that's how I'll consider it in my mind to help with sanity).

Mick, in less than a week you'll get to see your hilarious tan-band around that leg that's between the bottom of the shorts you've been wearing and the top of the boot. I hope Mel has breathing apparatus as well, cos it's gonna smell bad!

HapPea Tuesday everyone!

Morning,

Another day WFH. Looks like a lovely day ahead so at least some of it will be spent working outside regardless of what the Met Office recommends. Rebel that I am ;)

@MrPea - the tan is going to be interesting. The smell not so, the boot does come off and I've been going through cans of foot spray at such a rate I'm wondering about buying shares in Scholl! Hopefully there will be enough of the summer left to even out the tan.

Have a great day all

Morning all, deviation from normal job for 2 weeks as I am picking up Head of IT role to cover holiday. Came in the morning to find out that the current encumbent has given all his team days off, or WFH days today but also planned a visit from the MD and main board.

Hello Mr Director welcome to the IT dept, these are the desks they would be sat in if they were here :(

LOL. My Execs have given up worrying about that. Last time it happened I invited them to dial into the call that they were all on :D
