Morning all, the XC90 blew its steering seal AGAIN yesterday in the Kingston area, had to buy 5lt of Dextron III and keep refilling it to get home. I think it is curtains for it realistically. So I’m getting the GS out in a minute, got a local job to inspect first thing, need to report it by 10.00 then pack for Jeanette’s return at 12.30 and off via a school inspection in Dunstable to Buxton overnight. I am taking my niece to her prom in it this evening.

Fine day
The school / vandalism saga rumbles on. They contacted me yesterday via telephone and I repeated all the details again and provided photographic evidence and names etc again. Today though the little darlings are not in school due to a 'training day'. Action is promised around Tuesday next week. That will be a week since the vandalism took place. Meanwhile my neighbour is having the fence replaced and the culprit so far thinks he is bullet proof. Of course I cannot get his address to allow me to go to his parents, so may discretely follow him one day. Police may also be involved at some point - ongoing

I'm kind of done for the day now. Have decided that Mumbai is a squalid pit of filth with some wonderful buildings in it and some gaudy birds flapping around being exotic. I'm now in one of those wonderful buildings having a beer in the lounge and winding my way through the more pressing emails. Outside in the street children sleep under bridges in the dirt and on ripped up pavements and hope the next storms don't wash them away.

On which cheery note (sorry!), I wish you all a rapid conclusion to your own Fridays. Cheers!

Have to say. My Friday is pretty good.
Gorgeous weather, great hotel, beer dispensers everywhere. And great company.

What holidays should be all about.

Nearly home. Been a long 2 days and not the best. Home , dinner with family then beer n bed I think. Hate trains!!!!

Over 7 months since the Maserasbo was last seen. At present; morale good and no signs of scurvy amongst the crew. Things, good or bad, are going to happen, and soon.

Morning, all. Today I’ll mostly be in an aeroplane. So far I’m having a very nice lie-in in a surprisingly comfortable hotel and then I’ll head over to the airport in an hour.
