The good morning thread

Morning,

Another day working from home. Finished cleaning the Spider roof, who'd have thought it was actually black under all that muck. Might have a go at cleaning some of the stains out of the carpet later.

In the meantime I'm deal with the usual load of idiocy and lack of thought. I'm not sure which is more frustrating. Yes I do, its not admitting to not knowing stuff. I don't mind if people don't understand something, I'm partly here to impart knowledge. What really pisses me off is when people don't bother asking and then go off and do something based on false assumptions. It just causes work to correct.

Anyway, enough ranting, there's another thread for that and the sun is out so lets enjoy life.

Have a great day all

Morning all. Last day in the office before holiday.

A few bits and bobs to sort out and then packing (probably this afternoon) and then the footy later.

No looking forward to getting up at 2am to go to the airport though!
Joseph will no doubt think it is play time around then!

Happy Thursday, all.

1820 in Singapore and I’m at the airport for a flight to Mumbai. The first time I went to India I was deported, the second time I was there long enough to get the shites. I’m hoping for a less chaotic visit this time.

Pesky Indian's were onto you as being a contributor to this forum. It's coming up to half past 2018 in the UK interesting that it's 1820 in Singapore...

Do we want to win or come second in the group... win or lose we would meet any of the following in the Round of 16, Senegal, Japan or Colombia. If we win we could meet Brazil or Mexico in the quarters, lose and it would be Switzerland or Sweden. Beat Brazil or Mexico and we'd get either Portugal, Uruguay, Frnace or Argentina, Beat the swiss or Swedes then its Spain, Russia, Croatia or Denmark.

Personally I think Gareth should rest Kane, Lingard and anyone else on a Yellow Card...play Vardy and Welbeck...

I think we should go for a draw and lose top spot on yellow cards.

Injure a few of their players too, careful not to get any reds but I think yellow cards don’t carry over past group stage do they?

In any case, I say go for it, you don’t get be the best if you are looking to avoid opponents. Keep the momentum going...

Morning all. Or is it still night time?

Up at stupid o'clock to catch our flight to Spain for our first family holiday.
Feel like I've had zero sleep which doesn't bode well for later today. I wonder if Joseph will let me have a nap later?

Good morning from Mumbai, where the weather today will be hot, sticky, hot. And raining and thunderstorms and more heat, all to the accompaniment of a cacophony of car horns and the occasional stray dog.
