I'm gutted as I've been playing since I was 4. 40 years! Still in a state of shock as it hasn't quite sunk in yet.

Sympathise & empathise in equal measure but sadly time catches up with us. In the immediate short term you have the perfect distraction in wee Joseph. In time though you'll need to find an alternative outlet for the competitive juices. Those don't stop just because the body creaks a little. Find something you can do & enjoy and throw yourself into it. C2 rowing helped me.

Can't do rowing I'm afraid as my knee would bend too much.

I take your point though.

Morning all....Funeral today of an Asda work colleague who passed away after a short battle with cancer. That's the 5th funeral in 5 weeks I've gone to. Hope that's it for a while.

Morning.

Not a great time for you at the mo Andy is it. Chin up and keep going, your just being tested at the moment.

For me, it’s a day off today and curry and beer with the boys as usual tonight.

If I’ve finally resolved this Brera starting issue (not convinced yet) I am going to take it out for a run and pop over and see Mike Roberts for a natter.

Morning chaps. Sorry not been on for a while, I've been sorting out my Mums affairs. It's her funeral today so tomorrow should be the start of another chapter. I feel for you Andy and I'm there with you; this is the second funeral I've been to in the last 6 days. Have a good one guys.

Thought I'd add to this as I might be picking you chaps brains a bit over the next few months. So today started off with a one hour run, now home to find that the cleaner has cancelled which means that as the wife is out all day, I'm going to have to clean the house. And then go to the dentist and then over to Citizens Advice for the evening shift of trying to solve other peoples' problems more serious than the cleaner not turning up!!

Morning all. Another day at the coal face, todays job is trying to collect bad debts.

Having initially written them off, after seeing a post on Linkedin last night I thought f*ck it. You might not want to pay what you owe, but it's about the principle not the value (largest one is only £400).

Final snotty emails to be written then hand the debt over to the courts.

Might try the gym again tonight as well.

Well, it would be good yo get a few others Marques name in there other than the usual....Alfa Romeo in F1 sounds good and now Aston Martin is on board as well.......

It's now official Alfa Rome o now the official partner of Sauber and the team will be rebranded Alfa Romeo Sauber next year.

I think they are having Honda power next year, so that will be a total f****** disaster!

TBF the Honda lump is improving but I am pretty sure it will be running the Ferrari lump again.

Which poor sod is getting the Honda lump now?

Morning,
Was -.5 when I got up so I threw some coal and a couple of logs on fire for wife getting up. Lane was like a ice rink.
Work, hurry up weekend.
Have a good one,
