The good morning thread

Morning,

This working some at night but calls in the day completely messes with my sleep. I'm not sure if I should be asleep or awake.

Family visits today. Taking my son out for lunch and then parents. Need to see if I can make time to get to JCT600 this morning and get a battery replaced in a key. Yes, I know I could do it, but if I can go past there on the way out today its as easy to pay them to do it for me.

Probably car cleaning later if the weather holds. If not then more video editing.

Have a great day all

Good morning all,

First post on this thread for me I think.

Today is the start of (yet another) attempt to get back into my running, so am heading out to Parkrun shortly. Will be interesting to see what effect 2 months of no running and way too much eating and drinking has done to my ability to run 5k... suspect it will be depressing!

I'm sure you'll get back, Jon. Mrs Catman has done Couch 2 5k a couple of times, and she's 51 and has a heart defect.

Morning All,
Andy, that is a seriously nice watch, do it , you only live once, I would but alas SWMBO says I have too many,
Jon, leave the watch behind and don't time yourself, run to how you feel, not past glories,
Nothing planned for me, out on bike tomorrow,
Dave

Thanks C - I have developed an annoying habit of running lots, then doing nothing for a few months, then running lots, then giving up again, etc, etc...

Thanks Dave - today definitely wasn't about time, and was all about keeping one foot moving in front of the other... This is fortunate as I was at least 8 mins slower than my (long gone) glories, and it still felt blooming hard work....

.

Yep. I've never been fast but I do like it. Dropped off quite badly in the last year so about 3 months ago I outsourced the problem by hiring a personal trainer. Bloody marvellous!

Morning all, some of the usual reprobates are lingering on the poolside at Lloret De Mar. We have an astonishing 1.6 mile drive to do later concerned we'll make it! Few more days of sun for us.

Have fun all...

Tell me about it, back in the days before a metal hip I used to do sub 40 10k's, I take some solace in my cycling but would kill to be guaranteed running again.. lol, I miss the pain so much!!!!

It's the first Tag I've seen for a while that I just really like. Hoping to sort something next weekend.

Looking very tidy Andy. Hotel move completed without incident, car is tucked up in a basement car park, still covered in bugs. Having fun reading the progress of the others heading north today.

No afraid not Nikos...Needed new clothes for the winter ...... Bugatti boots, a few tops and and a coat.....Did go into a few Guitar shops though as couldn't help myself pick my next guitar and looked at the Tag Heuer Senna watch as really like it and thinking of getting one.

A very good Saturday morning to all..........

I am also in for a new watch, Andy. Not much into clothing this period though. Have a good Saturday evening all.....

I was bought a 6 watch winder for Christmas, which is akin to giving me permission to buy 4 new watches!
