Monaco, what a pointless race. If they all get through the first bend without carnage it's like watching the M6 without any overtaking.

There wasn't a single on track successful pass! It was rather boring.

It's like watching Sparticarse come up with an intelligible sentence and that's why I went to the pub to watch the league 2 play off final.

You are, Sparticarse needs another dribbler to make him feel appreciated. So, well done for stepping up.

Blimey Benny, subtlety pills are working well today????

Made the smallest component yet for Alex's new bike, the new switches have the kill switch marked back to front logically so we took the switch apart and I found a bit of 1mm copper bar and peaned the end, ground a 2.5mm round mushroom on a < 1.0mm round pin out of it and melted it through the correct location on the switch plate, cleaned it up and shortened it, soldered the wire onto it and hey presto the switch now works the correct way :) Having fun working with him again on a project...

That seems a lot of work for a relatively small reward. Good effort though! Is that subtle enough?! :D

Morning all,

Its a bit grey and overcast here today so might turn into a duvet day. Had a great drive out into the Yorkshire Dales yesterday, taking advantage of the sun whilst I can.

Had one person pull over to let me past. I don't think I was that close behind him, perhaps the grill was intimidating :)

Have a great bank holiday everyone

Morning all a bit of piece and quiet after yesterday madness of selling one car and buying another.

So off to see Dinosaurs with the children today which hopefully will involve no financial negotiation other than whether they get a standard cornet or a 99

Good luck, Matt.

Good morning, Forum. There was an impressive storm overnight, or so Mrs Crud tells me. I've been sleeping like the dead* the last few days and missed it. Today I plan to wash the car. I'm sure there'll be other stuff as well, but that's the thing I'd like to get done.

*smell like the dead, too. A gob like an open grave, apparently.

Good luck Matt, I have now got to the point that I hate selling cars privately. So many time wasters, a guy came down yesterday to view the MX-5 from Coventry (must be a 4 hour round trip) and he left without buying it! WTF? Why would anyone drive that distance for a £2k car and not take it?

Morning All,
Been rain last 2 hours, the beer decider convinced me not to work today,
So if it doesn't stop raining will need a wet weather activity as garden diy will be off the menu.....IMG_0850.jpg
Yesterday's work

Edit: doh, can someone turn it please!!

Morning all, will try not to get too distracted by the BMW today (not a chance) and install the loft ladder, clear a whole load of dross from one of the rooms and do a bit of admin.

Have fun all...

Some people have too much time on their hands, I try to do all the info gathering before I get anywhere near the a car and when selling I try to provide as much detail as possible to ensure their are no surprises. But often some people have other things on their mind.

With GT and Spyder both were sold to the first person to contact me who were also the first and only people to view.
